Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the DailyMate app and the DailyMate Premium subscription. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If something here does not work for you, please do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use DailyMate for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not decompile, copy, resell, or embed the app in your own product.

2. DailyMate Premium and the free trial

DailyMate Premium is a subscription processed through Apple. Three plans are available: Weekly, Annual, and Lifetime. Weekly and Annual auto-renew. The Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial; billing starts at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Full prices are shown on the subscription screen before you confirm the purchase. Prices may vary by region according to Apple App Store rules.

3. Auto-renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancel from your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. After cancellation, access to premium features remains until the end of the paid period.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple through your App Store account. To request a refund, contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have access to payment transactions and cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Basic mode

If you do not subscribe or you cancel, DailyMate still works in basic mode. Some features (HRV recovery, diary-style week export, and others) will be marked as premium and require an active subscription.

6. HRV and health

DailyMate shows Apple Health data for informational purposes only. It is not a medical product, does not diagnose, and does not replace professional medical advice. If you see readings that concern you, please consult a doctor.

7. Your data

You own everything you enter into DailyMate. The app stores it locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes the data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You may not (a) use the app for unlawful purposes, (b) attempt to crack or bypass the payment mechanism, (c) share premium content in a way that circumvents the license, or (d) damage our reputation.

Community conduct (buddy features)

The buddy features (league, accountability, focus partner) connect you with other people anonymously. There is zero tolerance for objectionable behaviour: no harassment, impersonation, or abuse of other users. You can block and report any user directly from their row; reports are reviewed and abusive accounts are removed, typically within 24 hours. We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

9. Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will be described in the release notes. If a change materially worsens your subscription, you may cancel and request a refund through Apple.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license if you break these terms — usually after notice, except for obvious abuse.

11. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, lost profit, or other indirect damages.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or this document. Apple's Standard EULA applies as the minimum baseline.

13. Governing law

Governing law is set by the publishing entity (to be completed at submission). Disputes are resolved at the registered location of the rights holder.
